About Amanda Perez, FNP
Amanda Perez, FNP is a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner specializing in medical, surgical, and cosmetic dermatology. She brings a diverse clinical background with experience in the Surgical Trauma ICU, Medical ICU, and Post-Anesthesia Care Unit at Yale New Haven Health and Kaiser Permanente.
Amanda earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Fairfield University in 2017 and her Doctor of Nursing Practice from Fairfield University in 2023. During her doctoral studies, she was inducted into the Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society.
She is board certified through the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners Certification Board and is an active member of the Connecticut Dermatology Nurse Practitioner and Physician Assistant organizations.
Amanda provides compassionate, patient-centered, evidence-based dermatologic care to patients of all ages. She has experience diagnosing and treating a wide range of skin conditions, including acne, rosacea, eczema, psoriasis, skin cancer, and other skin, hair, and nail disorders. She also performs surgical procedures and enjoys helping patients achieve healthier skin through both medical and cosmetic treatments.
Outside of the office, Amanda enjoys spending time with her husband, family, and their two dogs.
